
Evaluation
Based on the athlete’s evaluation, our coaches will create a customized training program that suits the needs and demands of the individual athlete.
Schedule an Evaluation. The student-athlete will get a multi-tiered evaluation that will screen for injury prevention, strength potential, and skill strengths and weaknesses. From this evaluation, the trainers at Invictus will write a training program that matches the athletes needs.
We believe that growth is NOT linear. Therefore, many of our athletes will have short spikes or regressions in training. In order to effectively manage and implement a training program that has LONG TERM effects – we look for our members to be long term members. Therefore, although we offer monthly training programs, we encourage annualized training programs that student-athletes are committed to.
Much of the training schedule is determined based on the needs of the individual athlete. We have athletes that train every day, all year round. And we have some athletes that do not require that level of specificity and train a few times a week.
We always have trainers overseeing the training. However, we wholly believe in community learning and expect that our student-athletes will learn from their peers. We also believe in progressional instruction. All athletes have different instructional needs. Some need a more hands on approach with detailed instructions, and teaching points. Our strength lies in our ability to handle each athlete on an independent basis meeting their individual learning needs.
