The Mavs Performance Institute has taken my game to the next level. Whether it’s in the weight room or on the mound, compete academy has all the tools to become a better athlete. On my rides home from MPI’s youth training classes I always ask my son how the class was. He said it was awesome: he learned some drop steps, proper throwing mechanics for double plays from both SS and 2nd base. He also spoke of cool twists in tweaking his swing and approach. This is coming from a 9 year old. That’s what you get when you join MPI and train with Howie, Rob, Rob, Steve, and Mike, former All-State, All-Conference, and professional players . From a parents standpoint, I have to admit I catch myself saying “I wish I had this as a kid” just about every time I’m there. The facility is top notch, equipped with everything possible for the boys and girls to succeed. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, and always have a good game plan for each weeks training classes. Even more so the coaches have fun with the kids. What excites me mostly is that everyday that there is a class I never have to talk Carney into going. He’s always ready early and talking about what he wants to work on. From catching and throwing, to proper swing mechanics and simply learning the game and how to be a better athlete you will not find a finer group of people to trust your children with. MPI is where my son started at age 7, and hopefully it will be the place he trains at in high school and beyond. Our family wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our son Jordan has been going to MPI for 3 and 1/2 years now and we couldn’t be happier with the program and most of all the continued improvement and dedication Jordan shows! I can honestly say even if he’s having a bad day he gets himself up to compete at least 5 days a week which is a 1/2 hour from us and it never fails he’s always happy when he returns.
From nutrition to workout programs to fielding and hitting. Jordan has thrived and the changes are amazing to us.
The guys at MPI are a huge part of our son’s life and we are forever grateful for all they’ve done and continue to do!
Jordan is a junior now and before we know it he will be off to college hopefully living his dream of playing baseball while continuing his education!! He has turned to the MPI staff on many occasions and continues throughout the process of College Recruiting with the help of all these guys!! Their opinion means a lot to our son and we believe they are doing all they can to continue to help Jordan grow to his highest potential everyday!!!

As a parent of an 11 year old baseball player, we have had or been exposed to numerous coaches over the years; however the training and skills my son is developing at MPI have been outstanding. These are the advanced skills that players can get regardless of their age or skill level. More importantly baseball is supposed to be fun and there hasn’t been a session yet where my son has walked out without thinking or smiling about the new skills he is developing. Excellent staff and facilities!
